  • Morning Routine: Start your day with a gentle stretching routine. Focus on major muscle groups, including your legs, back, and shoulders.
  • Hold Each Stretch: Hold each stretch for 20-30 seconds to allow your muscles to relax and lengthen.
  • Don’t Overdo It: Stretch to the point of mild discomfort, not pain. Overstretching can cause injuries.

BALANCE:

  • Heel-to-toe Walk:   Walk in a straight line placing the heel of one foot directly in front of the toes of the other. 
  • Tai Chi:  A gentle form of martial arts, involves slow, deliberate movements that significantly improve balance and coordination
  • Yoga Poses:  The Tree Pose or Warrior III can help enhance your balance and strengthen your core muscles.
