January Reset: Start Small, Stay Consistent
January often comes with big expectations β new goals, new habits, new routines. While fresh starts are exciting, they can also feel overwhelming, especially after a busy holiday season.
Hereβs something I want you to remember as we step into the new year:
π You donβt need to do more β you just need to do something consistently.
Movement after 50 works best when itβs gentle, repeatable, and enjoyable. Walking, light strength training, stretching, or mobility work all count. The key is not intensity β itβs consistency.
Try this this month:

Aim for 10β20 minutes of movement most days

Choose activities that feel good on your joints

Focus on showing up, not pushing harder

Celebrate every workout you complete (yes, even the short ones!)
January is about building a foundation, not burning yourself out. Small steps taken regularly will carry you much further than an all-or-nothing approach. This will also create habits that become part of your life, keeping you on track to a Fit and Fabulous you!
